Our geographical gazetteer, i.e., a set of names of cities worldwide with their geographical coordinates is a revised version of the database of the USA National Geo-intelligence Agency, available at GeoNet Names Server. The provider is MINES ParisTech / Armines (France). A copy of the gazetteer in SQL format is freely available. Note that for United States of America, the cities in the State of Colorado are absent from this gazetteer, likely due to a mistake made by the provider. Download (42 MB).
